“Most teachers waste their time by asking questions that are intended to discover what a pupil does not know, whereas the true art of questioning is to discover what the pupil does know or is capable of knowing.”- Albert Einstein

Teacher Resources

Cultivating thinking through science encourages us to question how we know what we know. Fostering this approach is a simple shift to how content and activities are presented. It makes a difference in building a more accurate view of the process of science. Science is a part of our everyday lives and seeing how it applies to real-world situations makes a connection in our minds that is intrinsic to the human genome.

Morning Star Full Sail IIShore Lab Discovery Center is ready to support your curriculum and provide educators with programming and professional development opportunities.

Workshops will be available in the near future to familiarize teachers with current trends in science. Teachers can sign up for instructor versions of student programs that help teachers develop lesson plans that translate and integrate cohesively back into the classroom. We hope you keep coming back to see what new ideas and events we have to offer you.

If you are looking for a tailored program go to our program information page and select "Request a Program" from the drop down list. Give us a short description about the nature of the request and someone from our education group will contact you.

Course work and costs are based on a class sizes of 25-30 students. Transportation when necessary will be provided by the school district.

Teachers may sign up for expeditions and field programs under the citizen scientist menu.
